I see humour in everything.
 Laughter is a wonderful healer.
It shakes out fear and leaves you feeling happier, clearer and more relaxed.
Laughter is the sunshine that dissolves the darkness, so be happy, full of joy and full of fun.

Saturday 7.45 Mass

The Parish Team and our Liturgy Group have decided that the 7.45am Mass on Saturdays will be discontinued, with effect from January 1st.  The reason for the change is that extra Masses on Saturdays (weddings and funerals) place an extra burden on the priests of the parish.  Those Masses already booked for anniversaries will be rescheduled.  Please contact the Parish Secretary at the Parochial House.

A PERFECT WIFE

"She is far beyond the price of pearls".

Today's reading from the Book of Proverbs, provides an opportunity to pay tribute to the endless endeavours of our wives and mothers, whose talents are so often taken for granted.

We learn from the Gospel that the Lord rewards those who are industrious and use their talents wisely.

Is the lack of appreciation of the talents of wives/mothers a factor in the breakdown of so many marriages and families today?

Why are we so prone to criticise and so slow in expressing our appreciation of the efforts of our partners in life?
