NO FREE LUNCHES

Jesus made many demands of his friends.  A well known saint once remarked that it was no wonder he had so few, he asked such a lot of them, even to leave their way of life and take up his cross daily.

He still makes these demands.  He wants us to spend our lives in the service of others.

Does this mean that we can never have any fun?  No.  It is all about a balance in our lives.  Being responsible for our actions.  Keeping in mind the one most important thing - trying to follow Christ to the best of our ability.

After all, "What will a person gain if he wins the whole world and suffers the loss of his soul". (Mt 16:26)
