WEDDING BELLS: The Church honours and treasures the married life of two people. Love is a wonder beyond all telling when it is experienced, and an inexpressible tragedy when betrayed. At their best, love and marriage give us an image of what God is like. Couples intending to marry must give 3 months notice to Church & State. Congratulations to Avril Waldie & Stephen Loughman who were married recently

PARISH EVALUATION EVENING All members of the various parish groups are invited and encouraged to participate in this evaluation meeting which will be on Wednesday 20th in the Court Hotel from 7.00-9.30pm. The main aim of this meeting is to look at the four needs of our parish from the McGreil report as expressed by parishioners, ie, young people; non-Irish; old & sick; those in irregular unions & separated. The parish needs to look to the future and set goals regarding these four priorities. So hopefully as many members of the parish groups as possible will attend.

A PRAYER FOR PEACE
O loving God, We remember the injured who fight for their life, We remember the captives who yearn for freedom, We remember the deportees who long for the homeland. We remember towns, villages and camps that are often under siege. We remember the children whose eyes reflect the light of the future, We remember the brave who say "no" to injustice, We lift the olive branch which says "yes' to a just peace
O God, we call upon you to grant us your patience, determination and power so that we may say:
No to hate and yes to love, No to death and yes to life, No to falsehood and yes to truth No to oppression and yes to justice, No to cruelty and yes to mercy, No to violence and yes to the path of peace, No, no matter what it may cost, and yes, no matter what it may cost. For you are the source of love leading to reconciliation and forgiveness.
Bulletin Notices to be in the Parochial House by Tuesday evening. Charitable / Non-profit making associations only
