CHILDREN OF GOD
While none of us remember our own Baptism - today's Gospel presents us with an opportunity to be grateful to God, that we are His children and heirs to His Kingdom; called to continuous conversion and service.
It was then, in this sacrament, that we became part of the Body of Christ and called to supernatural life.
Maybe some of us have forgotten the commitment we made then, as parents, godparents or community, to lead the child to God by the example of our own lives.
Hopefully, these words of the Gospel today, will find an echo in our hearts:
"You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." (Mk 1:11)

ENVELOPE COLLECTION: If you received an envelope box without a name or the wrong name and address, please put a note in your next envelope donation giving the correct name and address.
Please do not use the envelope boxes during the week as they are open. Leave your envelopes in them during the Saturday vigil Masses or Sunday morning Masses. Thank you.
LECTIO DIVINA: Lectio resumes on Tuesday 10th at 8.00pm in the Parochial House.
