PRAY ANYWHERE AND ANYTIME!

On our Youtube channel, Tullamore Parish, you will find the Prayer of the Stations of the Cross, with pictures of the stations in Tullamore church with prayer recited by a few parishioners.

You can view closely the images of the stations in Tullamore church and you can listen to beautiful texts about the road of the cross crossed by the Saviour during this time of Lent.

DAY OF RECONCILIATION & MASS FOR SICK 

Two of the sacraments celebrate healing - Holy Anointing and Confession. One is for the body and the other is for the soul. On Monday of Holy Week, 3rd. April, both sacraments will be celebrated.

There will be a Penitential Ceremony after 7.45.am, 10.00.am and 7.30.pm Masses. A Priest will be available in the Church for Confessions from 8.00.am-1.00.pm and from 3.00-7.00pm.

The Sacrament of the Sick will be offered during Mass for Healing at 2.00.pm.

FOR CHILDREN BAPTISED IN 2022

We invite parents and their children to the celebration of the Eucharist on Easter Sunday, April 9th, at 10.00 am in Tullamore Church. We would like you to join us, to celebrate and remember your child's baptism and entry into the Christian Community during 2022. All children will receive a blessing at the end of Mass. Please come and be part of this special occasion.

GOOD FRIDAY - COLLECTION FOR THE HOLY PLACES

It is a universal custom that a collection for the Holy Places is taken up on Good Friday.  The plight of Christians in the Holy Land is becoming more difficult and their numbers have reduced significantly and worryingly.  We will have this as an exit collection after Good Friday ceremonies.

EVENING PRAYER on Sundays at 5.30pm in the Church of the Assumption.

WEEKLY TALKS ON DAILY MASS READINGS given by Fr. Séan Heaney on Thursdays after 10.00am. Mass in he Parish Centre. All are welcome. Please bring a bible if you have one.

Adoration continues in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore daily 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mon. To Sat. And 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sun. If you can do 1 hour per week in adoration please ring Pat on 0851162668

As and from Monday 28th February 2022, the Church barrier will be open only from 7.00am until 12.00 non to facilitate Mass goers.

SACRAMENTS

BAPTISM: Please contact the parish secretary. Baptisms take place monthly on the first Sunday in Tullamore, second Sunday in Durrow, third and fourth Saturday in Tullamore.

CONFESSIONS: Saturday 2.00-3.00pm in the Day Chapel.
