Baptisms: It is our policy, in so far as possible, to celebrate Community Baptisms. Baptisms are in Tullamore on the 1st Sunday & 3rd Saturday of the month and in Durrow the 2nd Sunday of the month. Next pre-Baptism meeting - Wed 16 Feb - 8.30pm, Parochial House. All parents who wish to have their child baptised must attend a meeting. Contact Parish Secretary for details.

Parish Activities
ASH WEDNESDAY: Next Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. Masses are at 7.30am, 10.00am and 6.15pm. Durrow 8.00pm. There will be a short prayer service and distribution of ashes at 1.10pm in the Church of the Assumption.
EVENING MASSES FOR LENT: Evening Masses for Lent will be in Tullamore, Monday - Friday 6.15pm and in Durrow on Fridays at 8.00pm.

There will be an Afternoon of Prayer for the Intentions of Our Lady, Queen of Peace - Medjugorje on Sunday 6th Feb at 3.30pm in the Day Chapel, Church of the Assumption, with Fr Joe McLaughlin. Hymns of Praise, Rosary, Mass and Benediction and prayers for healing, peace, Our Holy Father Pope John Paul II. Everyone welcome. |
