Blessed for Believing

Mary was the most perfect disciple of Jesus and she has always been given to us as a model.  If we hear God' Word and act on it, as Mary did, we will be blessed.

God's Word, the Good News, is that Jesus, God's Son, made God present to us when He walked on this earth.  The Gospel stresses that those who believe this good news will be blessed.

Christmas seems to make it easier for us to believe and to enter into a deeper relationship with God.  This helps us to open our hearts to one another and so receive the "Great Joy" announced by the Angels.
