It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. LOVE NEVER FAILS. 1 Cor 13:4-8 HOLY WEEK & EASTER TULLAMORE 2021 In line with government restrictions, all Easter ceremonies will be on livestream and can be accessed from the parish website www.tullamoreparish.ie HOLY THURSDAY: (1st April) 10.00am Morning Prayer Mass of the Lord’s Supper: 6.30pm Tullamore; 7.30pm Durrow GOOD FRIDAY (2ND APRIL) 10.00am: Stations of the Cross Celebration of the Lord’s Passion: 3.00pm: Durrow 6.30pm: Tullamore HOLY SATURDAY (3RD APRIL) 10.00am: Morning Prayer 9.00pm Solemn Easter Vigil, Tullamore (There will be the blessing of Holy Water during the Vigil including small bottles which people may have at home while participating on livestream. It has also been a year when we have seen wonderful examples of community support and people supporting one another. It is particularly difficult that people cannot come to Mass and we eagerly look forward to the day when we can return. We appealed to parishioners to continue to support the parish as best they could and there has been a generous response for which we are most grateful and encouraged. Although our income has reduced substantially we have been able to run the parish and to make progress in reducing our parish debt. We are pleased to report that our debt on the 31 Dec 2020 is €99,790. This is a big achievement during these difficult times. We have a large and vibrant Parish that we can be proud of. We ask for your continued support and together we will face these challenges. We thank you for your support and generosity. The Parish Finance Committee (Copies of the Parish Finance Report for 2020 are now available in the Church.) Payments through Bank: A number of parishioners have set up direct debits in the last twelve months but unfortunately we do not have addresses for them. Can you please contact the Parish Office and give your address so that we can acknowledge your donations to the parish. SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM Not taking place at the moment.
