Congrats Tullamore Parish
A hearty Congrats to Tullamore Parish for your recent award - very fitting and well deserved. Tullamore Parish has always been a strong and active Parish and I am proud to have been a member for many years. Congrats to all involved and keep up the fantastic work. All of my trips back since my departure from Tullamore 30 years ago, I made sure to be in Tullamore on Sundays to attend Mass there. There is a great welcoming feeling once you walk in the door. It is truly "home". God Bless you all.

The name Jewel
Hi
My name is Bridget, I am a genealogist looking for any information on the surname Jewel. My great grand parents married in Tullamore in 1864, I think she was a native of Tullamore although i cant be a 100% sure. her full name was Sarah Jewel and her father was Martin Jewel. She married Thomas Mackey on the 13th January 1864. I would be very greatful of any information as i have hit a dead end with all the usual searches
Thanks
Bridget

Ms
I think the Esther Grogan that died in December 2009 was a 2nd cousin of mine. I have been to Tullamore - is it in Co. Tipperary. Greetings from Rockingham - Western Australia. I had five aunties who entered the convent in Ireland and came to Australia to teach and nurse. Webmaster Thank you for your entry. Tullamore is in County Offaly, Ireland. All the best.

alter etched marble artwork
My husband and I were blessed with a trip to Ireland last month as chaperones for a group of Niagara Unversity students (Niagara Falls NY USA). We spent a part of our trip in Tullamore. We were able to attend Mass in your most beautiful Church. The students as well as ourselves were overwhelmed with the alter artwork (Jesus and the 12 apostles). Many were wondering who the artist is and if a print of this piece could be purchased. It deeply moved us all spititually and we are hoping to share it with our friends and family here in the states. I would so appreciate any information you may be able to give. Thank you and may God continue to bless your lovely parish community. We cannot wait to return. webmaster Hi Danielle, Good to hear from you, we hope to have info for you soon.
