To mark Good Friday this year, a public 'pageant' was hosted to mark the day.  The order of events were as follows: 
Assemble at the People's Park at midday,
from there down the High Street to O'Connor Square where there was a short prayers and a final dismissal.  

This was organised by Tullamore Inter-Church Group, representing the Catholic Church, the Church of Ireland and the Presbyterian and Methodist Congregations.
